The
traditional approaches are centered in a form more grammatical, however the
communicative approaches are centered in a form more pragmatic.

The
traditional approaches are a system that has a structured teaching, and the
communicative approaches are more adapted to the students.

The
traditional approaches are worked with files, while the communicative approaches
are worked with situations closer to children.

approaches use a more daily language.

sentences, nevertheless the communicative approaches have as objective
communicative situations to bring the capacitiesof the
classroom.

Ideas about
the traditional and communicative approaches:
- Our
learning has been through the traditional approach.
- In our
opinion, with the traditional approach we wouldn't learn a second language of a
functional form.
- From our
point of view, any language should be taught using the communicative approach.
- The
communicative approach is a method of teaching more natural and similar to the
acquisition of language.
Conclusion:
So we think
that teaching should be communicative, talking and interacting with students.
With activities adapted to everyday language that is useful for students and
where they can show what they know.
Because if
you focus only on teaching grammar, students will focus almost to read and
write. If in addition, the teacher is responsible for finding the faults of the
students, they end up learning a language too formal and structured, which they
won't feel comfortable speaking neither with confidence.
